At Taza Chocolate, we make organic stone ground chocolate from bean to bar. The hand-carved granite stones that turn in our traditional stone mills lightly grind our Direct Trade Certified cacao, preserving all the bright bold flavor. With textures ranging from gloriously gritty to silky smooth, our stone ground chocolate is the real deal: simple, organic, and perfectly unrefined. Taza is a proud family-owned small business. Founded by husband-and-wife team Alex Whitmore and Kathleen Fulton, we're still crafting chocolate out of the Somerville, MA chocolate factory where we started over a decade ago. Our mission remains the same too: to make and share stone ground chocolate that's seriously good and fair for all.
