The details

The Ramen Rush is a microwave cooker made for one job and does it well: turning a standard package of instant ramen into a hot, properly cooked bowl of noodle soup. The rectangular shape fits a block of ramen flat, so the noodles cook evenly instead of poking up out of the water, and a ridged bottom lets liquid flow underneath so they don't stick.

It holds 3.6 cups, with a fill line that takes the guesswork out of how much water to add. Drop in the noodles, fill to the line (about 1½ to 2 cups), and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in the seasoning and any add-ins, let it sit a minute, and it's ready. Because it's both the cooker and the bowl, there's only one thing to wash, and a pair of reusable chopsticks comes with it.
