The best part of zesting is the zest. The worst part is scraping it off the back of the grater with your fingertips. The Ozest takes care of that with one push of a button.

The details

The Ozest is Dreamfarm's speed zester, built around a curved stainless steel grater plate. That concave shape puts more of the fruit in contact with the blades on every stroke, so you zest faster, and it naturally guides your lemon or lime down the center instead of letting it skid off the edge toward your knuckles.

The plate carries 441 super fine, photo-etched blades angled to shave off light, fluffy, aromatic zest (about 1mm fine) while leaving the bitter white pith behind. When zest clings to the underside, as it always does, press the button on the handle and a built-in wiper clears it right into your bowl.

The snap-on blade cover pulls double duty. Slide it on for safe storage in a drawer, or keep it underneath while you work as a zest catcher that measures up to 2 tablespoons. The whole thing is dishwasher safe.
