The details

The Nocutu's flexible finger guard runs on tracks along the body, holding your food and shielding your hand the whole way — so you can use every last slice of that potato instead of sacrificing the end piece. The blade is razor-sharp Japanese stainless steel with three thickness settings: 1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm, covering everything from translucent cucumber rounds to sturdy gratin slices.

An integrated non-slip foot folds out to lift the mandoline at a working angle and keep slices from jamming underneath. When you're done, the finger guard doubles as a blade cover and the blade locks closed, so it stores safely in a drawer.

The body is BPA-free ABS plastic with FDA and LFGB-approved materials, it measures 28.5 cm long, and the whole thing is dishwasher safe.
