The details

Drop up to three unpeeled cloves into the chamber and squeeze. As the handles open back up, a spring-loaded scraper sweeps the crushed garlic off the grill and straight into your pan, so nothing is wasted and there's nothing to dig out with a fingernail. When you're done, press the eject button and the peel drops into the bin without you ever touching it.

The body is chrome-plated zinc with nylon components, which gives it the solid, weighty feel of a serious kitchen tool at just under a pound. All materials are BPA-free and FDA and LFGB approved, and the whole thing goes in the dishwasher.
