This is not a typical knife block. Instead of slots that grind against your blade every time you put a knife away, the Countertop Knife Block uses powerful neodymium magnets, the strongest commercially available, embedded on both sides of the block to hold knives securely without ever touching the cutting edge. Your blades stay sharper, longer.
The block itself is handcrafted in Italy by a family with over 60 years of woodworking experience, using sustainably harvested Italian beechwood. The result is a piece that is as much countertop decor as it is a functional storage tool. Its compact footprint delivers maximum storage without taking over your counter, and non-slip rubber feet on the base keep it firmly in place when you're reaching for a knife mid-prep.
Each side holds up to four knives, for a total of eight, and while it's designed to pair perfectly with Made In's knife sets, the universal magnetic design accommodates most blades from any brand.
