Cherry season without the red fingertips. The Hullapit pits cherries and olives, hulls strawberries and tomatoes, and even flicks the eyes out of a pineapple, all while catching the pits and the splatter inside itself.

The details

This is three fruit tools in one palm-sized gadget. A spring-loaded plunger punches pits out of cherries and olives, and a double-chamber design catches the expelled stones and contains the juice, so your counter and your shirt stay clean. It removes pits without bruising the fruit around them.

Flip to the other end and conically tapered stainless steel blades hull strawberries and tomatoes with minimal waste, taking just the core and the blemish rather than a thick slice of good fruit. The same blades handle pineapple eyes.

At just under 5 inches long and locking closed for storage, it takes up almost no drawer space. Materials are stainless steel, nylon, and polypropylene, all BPA-free and FDA and LFGB approved, and it's fully dishwasher safe. One honest note: it's designed for cured olives; pitting fresh olives may dull the nylon plunger over time.
