Garject Lite

All the clever, half the heft. The Garject Lite takes everything that makes the Garject press unpeeled garlic, scrape itself clean, and eject its own peel, and puts it in a lightweight nylon body that's easier on your grip and your budget.

The details

Feed in unpeeled cloves and squeeze. As the handles open, the built-in scraper sweeps crushed garlic off the grill and into your pan, and a press of the eject button drops the peel straight into the trash. Your hands never touch a clove, so they never smell like one.

Where the original Garject is chrome-plated zinc, the Lite is built from nylon with stainless steel, weighing just a third of a pound. It's sized for a couple of cloves at a time, which suits most everyday cooking, and the lighter action makes it a comfortable squeeze for smaller hands.

Materials are BPA-free and FDA and LFGB approved, and it's dishwasher safe. As with its metal sibling, flicking or chopping the ends off your cloves first helps it work at its best.
