The details

The 11-inch skillet shares the TITUM Fusion construction: a lightweight aluminum body wrapped in stainless steel over Hestan's patented Double Impact base. Two stainless discs bonded to the aluminum core keep the pan flat and stable, hold heat for a proper sear, and pool oil toward the center for even browning. It runs on any cooktop, induction included.

The interior is Hestan's diamond- and titanium-reinforced TITUM nonstick, rated 22 times more durable than standard coatings. That reinforcement is the difference between a pan you replace every year and one you keep: ordinary nonstick thins and loses its release quickly, while the diamond-and-titanium matrix resists scratches and heat wear. The textured surface also browns and develops fond better than a slick conventional coating, so eggs slide out clean but a chicken thigh still gets color.

The pan is metal-utensil safe, made in Italy, and free of PFOAs. Flush rivets keep the interior smooth, the polished stainless lid traps heat and moisture for finishing dishes, and the whole thing is oven safe to 500°F and dishwasher safe.
