Corpeel
Fresh corn off the cob without kernels ricocheting across the kitchen. The Corpeel strips whole kernels in tidy rows and sends them exactly where you want them, then folds flat to hide its own blade.
The details
The Corpeel is a compact corn peeler built around a curved Japanese stainless steel blade, set at just the right depth and angle to strip whole kernels off the cob without gouging into it. Side channel grips give you controlled handling as you run it down the ear, and a non-slip rubber foot keeps everything steady while you work.
Its smartest trick is the fold: the kernel chute that guides corn into a neat pile flips over to become a built-in blade cover, so the Corpeel stores safely and flat in a drawer with no loose guard to lose.
It's made from stainless steel and polypropylene, BPA-free with FDA and LFGB-approved materials, and dishwasher safe. The blade is genuinely sharp, so handle with care and store it folded.
