Cutting Board Oil
Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil
Wood cutting boards fail for one reason more than any other: they dry out. Walrus Oil's Cutting Board Oil solves that with a single application — penetrating oils condition the wood while beeswax seals the surface, so boards resist cracking, staining, and water damage instead of degrading with every wash.
The details
The formula blends fractionated coconut oil and pure mineral oil to penetrate deep into the wood, with beeswax layered on top to repel water and food particles at the surface. Vitamin E extends shelf life. It's a heavy-duty treatment that doesn't need multiple coats — one application leaves a silky-smooth finish with richer wood tone and a light sheen.
Good for new builds and reconditioning alike. On an unfinished board, sand first (220–400 grit) before applying. On a board already in use, just clean and dry it thoroughly. Apply the oil, let it set for 6–12 hours, then buff away the excess. For boards used daily, plan to reapply every 1–2 months.
Choose your size
2 oz — best for occasional touch-ups on a single board, or trying it for the first time.
8 oz — the practical size for a full reconditioning job, multiple boards, or a household that oils boards regularly.
