The details
The pan bakes a dozen standard muffins or cupcakes, each cup about 2.75 inches across and 1.375 inches deep, on a 15.75 by 11.125 inch frame. It is heavy-gauge aluminized steel with USA Pan's corrugated surface for even heat and warp resistance, finished in AMERICOAT nonstick made without PTFE, PFOA, or BPA. Muffins release cleanly with a gentle tap.
The deep, fitted plastic lid is the reason for the set. It clears tall, frosted cupcakes and includes a built-in handle for secure transport, then doubles as storage to keep a fresh batch covered on the counter. The lid is not oven-safe and comes off before baking.
Made in the USA by the Bundy family near Pittsburgh, with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the pan.
