The details

This set pairs a 10-inch Naturals pie pan with a tall, clear plastic dome made for the trip from your kitchen to someone else’s table. The dome has plenty of room inside, so meringue peaks, piled-on whipped cream, and lattice tops arrive in one piece. The dome also keeps pies covered in the fridge and gives you a pretty way to show one off on the counter.

The pan is made from pure uncoated aluminum, the same material commercial bakeries rely on. Aluminum heats quickly and evenly, so the bottom crust bakes through instead of turning soggy. An encapsulated galvanized steel rim reinforces the edge so the pan holds its shape in a hot oven and won’t warp. At 10 inches across and 1.8 inches deep, it holds a generous deep-dish pie, about 1.9 quarts.

For easy release, grease the pan with shortening or line it with parchment. Over time the aluminum develops a natural patina, which is normal and doesn’t affect baking. Acidic fillings like rhubarb or tomato can darken the surface if they sit in the pan, so move leftovers to another container. The pan is made in America of domestic and imported materials, made without PFAS, and backed by Nordic Ware’s Lifetime Warranty.

The dome is for storing and carrying only. Keep it out of the oven and microwave.
