Pizza Sauce

Made with a rich chopped tomato base, our pizza sauce contains caramelized onion pieces that impart a velvety texture. Its balanced flavor lets subtle notes of garlic and oregano shine through.

Uses;
Our pizza sauce is the perfect consistency to spread easily, without being too runny (which could make the dough soggy). Add extra flavor with our Favuzzi Italian herb blend or our hot chili pure. For a particularly delicious pizza, top it with our famous Favuzzi candied tomatoes.

Nothing rivals the taste of Italian tomatoes ripened under the Mediterranean sun and seasoned with fresh, locally grown aromatics. If our sauces have a velvety texture, comparable to a homemade sauce, it is partly because they are prepared in small batches and cooked over an open flame, the same technique traditionally used by Italian mammas, allowing the water to evaporate gradually.

Conservation;
Refrigerate after opening and use within 3 to 4 days. Contains no preservatives.
